PasteSup is a macOS clipboard manager. Clipboard history stays on your Mac and is not uploaded to the developer.
Data processed on your Mac
While recording is enabled, PasteSup reads supported text, rich text, links, images and file references from the system clipboard. It stores copy times and source application names and identifiers to support browsing, search, previews and pasting. File references are not backups of the original files. App preferences are also stored locally.
Storage and your controls
History is limited to 200 items and 64 MB in total; individual copies larger than 12 MB are not recorded. Older records may be removed when limits are reached. You can pause recording in Settings, delete individual records or clear all history. Local data may remain after uninstalling; clear history in the app first if you want it removed. PasteSup does not add application-level encryption to history.
Sensitive content and Accessibility
PasteSup skips clipboard content that source apps explicitly mark as concealed, transient, automatically generated or otherwise excluded. It cannot reliably identify every password or sensitive item. Pause recording before copying sensitive information. Accessibility permission is used to recognize shortcuts and send paste actions to the active app. Browsing history and copying again do not require this permission. You can revoke it in System Settings.
No developer data collection in the app
PasteSup has no account system, ads, developer analytics SDK or cloud sync. It does not send clipboard history, usage records or device identifiers to the developer. Apple may process store transactions and diagnostics according to your system choices and its own privacy policy.
Website and support email
Cloudflare hosts this website. Its hosting service may process IP addresses, browser information, request paths and timestamps to deliver pages, protect security and operate the service. The website does not read your clipboard. Appearance preferences may be stored locally in your browser. If you email support, we receive your email address, message and attachments solely to handle your inquiry. Do not send passwords or sensitive clipboard content.
